When Bacasso Met Castisse - An Artiste Extravaganza

Once upon a time a beautiful little cherub named Castisse (Matisse) met a stellar little bloke named Bacasso (Picasso)......and a wonderful friendship grew. So much so, that their Mommas and Papas decided to throw them a little multicolored art party for turning 730 days old!!!

Here's Castisse with little Bacasso gearing up for their opening night at the art gallery.

Bacasso (Zeke) working on the "got mud" scene of their exhibition.

Castisse (Castlin) working the crowds in her little pink flowered number.

Being an artist is a never ending labour of love.....therefore when one can they must attach fruit loops on a string to get nutrients while one works. A very quick and sweet snack. Red is good......a fine expression of the jewels. I figure as long as he's not wearing with big fake and heavy gold bling!

Interested participants must attend your art show if you are to sell any of your art. Therefore proper invitations stating the imporatance of attendance to this fine function went out well in advance. Here Bacasso is with another one of his female friends Kaymannis (Kayla).
Here's some footage of Caymannis and Bacasso exploring the cool stuff.

When in doubt the crowds will always be won over with the pink flowered number setting center stage under the multicolored sky!

Footage of the wet stuff......

When in doubt we must remember to SALE-ebrate.........

Note to future art exhibitors......please buy self lit candles that do not threaten to decease in the wind.

FREE cake to all that attend the showing of Castisse & Bacasso!

Working on those candles that represent 730 days of art in the making.

There's nothing like a celebration surrounded by supporters and friends.

Bacasso can't get enough of the rich chocolatey filling with the ever so sweet rolled fondant!

"I must have more!" says he, "I must have more!"

Allow me to create some more artwork. We'll call this "Bacasso's finest with a drizzle......".

"Ahhhhhh, where is the canvas when I require it?" This smoked onyx I've created is spec-tac-u-laaaar!"
Bacasso's Gone fishing............... roll the tape.....

Bacasso figures out the secret fishing game.......

When pinning the artist brush on the palette one must be blind folded and have to work within the hoots and hollers! Well, heavens to Betsy, at least it wasn't all about pinning the tail on that poor donkey!

Bacasso will sit this one out......and apparently so will Castisse.....

Every great artist must experiment with just the right amount of water added to their creations. Here Bacasso and Castisse freely explored water held captive and then let wild!

This ain't no running with the bulls! Although at times you may have thought so!

Bacasso did name this exercise 'running with the H2O Balls'. You think it's easy, you give it a try!
Bacasso & Castisse.............giving it their all!

Castisse & Bacasso size up the competition. Castisee a little more serious about the event. Bacasso is all about the funness factor!

Bacasso retreats to his Boathouse on the water where he spends some time in solitude!

At the end of the evening......all supporters and friends were given edible artwork to taste & enjoy. Our volunteer help for the evening (as you can see here) were on their toes and very attentive to the goings on of the afternoon.

"With this hand, I thee paint," references Nikko.

"Excuse me! An artist never divulges their secrets, " says Bacasso.

Castisse and Bacasso end the evening with a demonstration on how to put sponge to canvas.

Castisse would like to thank her parenti for all of their unconditional support as she makes her visions become reality.

Bacasso would like to thank his parenti for their love & support as he follows his dreams.
