We don't really make big productions about special days because although it sounds cliche, in our family we really try to see the present as a gift...everyday we get to spend together is really a blessing.
Jason wanted to just relax and enjoy with his family and so his wish was our command. I was happy that I didn't have to cook.....Col. Saunders took care of the 3 course dinner.
We began with a gourmet dinner at the beach compliments of KFC.
Zekie's first KFC delight which he thoroughly enjoyed.
Then we went swimming and ran about the beach for a while.
Next we had a trip to the swings.....Zeke tried to give his Dad a Father's Day swing but he's just a little guy and decided it would be best if he had all the fun!
And fun he had!
Way into the evening as the sun set.................fun was still to be had.
And yes even at home before bed.....Jason got some more Zekie time!
