Because Ezekiel was born on the best day of the year....CHRISTMAS DAY....we decided to have a halfway to 4 birthday party for him before we head back to Canada for the summer. He decided that he wanted cupcakes and he wanted sharkies in water on them. Hmmm? Well, we found some sharkie candies and we mixed up some cool tidal waves and the rest was.......
a whole lotta sprinkles!!!?!
When Zeke sets his mind to something there isn't much that's going to get in the way. He proceeded to decorate 24 cupcakes and he didn't cease until they were all done. The only thing I did was help him put the icing on.......the rest was a little blue, and a little green (because the ocean has some green in it too Mom), and of course a little yellow for when it's a rough ocean.
And VIOLA! 24 sharkie cupcakes! Well, 23 because he couldn't wait to eat one!
At Zeke's little party with his buddies, when it was 'cake' time, he ran right out of the pool and over to the table to see his masterpiece. He was pretty proud of what he had done.
A little but of a windy day so it was difficult (damn near impossible) to light the if you'll notice, 3 1/2 candles. So instead, we pretended that they were lit and he was blowing.....
.... then I decided that perhaps he could blow out the matches. The wind always got there first! But, who cares, the best part was the eating..............
